Construction Plans

The first phase of the park, which is in progress, has the capacity to provide approximately 200 acres consisting of 20 lots that are ready-to-go land. Our projected start date for phase two is no later than summer of 2024 offering an additional 180 acres consisting of an additional 13 lots.

Once completed, SEMO Industrial Park will add an estimated 3.8 million square feet of Class A light industrial space which was once farm ground in the southeastern region.

SEMO Industrial Park is located along I-55 at exit 91. The main entrance to the park is located at Old Hwy 61 E Outer Road. The second entrance to the park will be located on Route AB / Nash Road. It is well-positioned geographically to serve all your distribution needs.

Where the property is located, you can send all your goods or products anywhere they need to go. The property’s convenient location gives you easy access to seven major highways, close access to air transportation through Cape Girardeau Regional Airport which is convenient for all your business travels. SEMO Port is less than 4 miles from the park, offering port facilities and class 1-Railroads.


Chapter 100 authorizes cities and counties to issue industrial development bonds to finance a wide variety of commercial facilities and equipment, and to offer real and/or personal property tax abatement, sales tax exemption on construction materials, and/or sales tax exemption on tangible personal property. The terms and abatement percentages are typically determined at the local level.
